4 Tips to Be Prepared For a Storm When You're Out On the Water

Particularly with fall approaching, there's always the chance that an unexpected storm will blow in while you're out on the water. Piloting back to the ramp or slip in the rain and wind, soaked through, is never the way you want to end a day of fishing. However, equipped with some quick-drying fishing apparel and a bit of preparation, it's a different story. If a freak storm does interrupt your day on the water, at the very least, you'll be able to make it back more comfortably. For the truly committed angler, it might even mean being able to fish through the storm. If the storm is accompanied by lighting, though, all bets are off. However well they're biting, you should pack it in.
